Almost a "blanca" ... Almost a "negra"... This exotic version of the flamenco guitar is built with beautiful flaming Hawaiian koa on its back and sides. Brazilian rosewood, African ebony or snakewood is used for the bindings. The soundboard is made of bear-clawed sitka or alpine spruce.
Although it is designed to be positioned between the traditional "blanca" and the modern "negra" guitar in terms of its acoustic profile, it is most aptly used to play anything that would normally be performed on a fine, traditional cypress-backed flamenco guitar.
