The Oregon myrtle back and sides
combined with a uniquely-braced spruce soundboard help give this instrument an earthy ‘blanca’ sound. Dark Brazilian rosewood is used for the bindings, bridge and head veneer.
The instrument is French polished with a unique formula to enhance the dark green tint of the Oregon myrtle. The soundboard and Spanish cedar neck are similarly finished with a deep brown shellac to darken the wood giving the completed instrument an uncommon, yet very attractive appearance.
All standard models are offered with an optional cutaway that allows for easier fingering at the higher frets, including the traditional "Florentine" and "Venetian" designs, as well as the "Custom-V" design.
